UCLA professor emeritus of education, Val Rust, was the target of the protestors last year by “aggrieved minority students,” as they label themselves, for charges of racism.
Just what did Professor Rust do that got him labeled a racist? Get this…he corrected spelling, punctuation, and grammar in the papers of black students.

In point of fact, we no longer speak or teach proper English. Good for this professor for holding students to a higher standard. Color should have nothing to do with achieving a higher standard. All should strive for that.
So black students are supposed to have lower standards in education… because they are black? That would equate to….they don’t want as good an education as the white students???? Crazy!

Yes it does not matter that he has done this to many students over his years of teaching and I would bet my bottom dollar they were not all black. A education is power and most blacks want power, so education is the key to a better living and many other things.
