Sometimes, it seems the Pope takes more pleasure in challenging the church that he leads than he does promoting the values he was entrusted to protect. Ever since he was elected head of the Roman Catholic Church, the Pope seemed to immediately embark on an apology tour for the beliefs and actions of his predecessors.
Of course, Pope Francis didn’t let the bounds of the his faith box him in, either. He quickly branched out to tackle hot-button issues such as capitalism and immigration, as well.
Now, the pope is even challenging the church’s firmly held beliefs on homosexuality. Homosexuality has long been one of the most condemnable sins in the eyes of the church, but the pontiff is once again reversing course by asking his followers to accepts gays and lesbians.

Peggy, maybe you should sit down and STUDY the Bible. If you openly promote sin, then you commit sin. The pope has in this instance and in other cases since assuming his position.
He has chastised Trump for want a wall at the Mexican border, yet he live behind four walls and has armed guards around him at all times. He openly accepts guy priest, which is against the teachings of the Bible (regardless of which version you read). Don’t know where this man went wrong, but he sure has changed the Catholic church.
Gays do not follow the plan of having a family. Neither does the Pope for that matter
Jesus is not tolerate,. Never has been and never will be. Forgiveness and tolerance is to very different things. Jesus said He will forgive but to go and sin no more. The pope is a devil. Simple as that.
If true I do not know which Bible he has read. Both his Bible and mine say the same thing except the added something to theirs. If that is his thing, He should resign his position as the head of the larges Church in the world. Could this be the reason the Church is getting smaller each year. I have family who belong to that Church and I am sure they are not following his teachings.
