With all of the controversy that surrounds Pope Francis, there’s a growing weight in the minds of Christians and Catholics that he’s not the man many of them thought him to be.
And if the things he said before Congress today haven’t convinced you of this truth, his comments made during an interview with the founder of La Republica should be enough to sway your conscience. Apparently, non-believers will be forgiven by God if they follow their conscience.

John 14:6… I am the way, the truth and life: No man cometh into the father but by me. What Bible did he study
Well in one aspect of the WORD he is right, you can get to heaven’s door but will the door be opened or closed for you on judgement day? The thief on the cross was taken into a place called Paradise. To be absent from the body is to be presen with the LORD. The Bible tells us that no one has entered into heaven as of yet. Search the word. I have read that there is different stages of heaven. God will create a new heaven and a new earth but the world will never end. It may go back to being void and wihout form as it was from he beginning, then the NEW JERUSELUM WILL TAKE PLACE AS I see it stating.
More troubling than this Pope and his beliefs is, how did the Church hierarchy choose him to begin with? As a “Protestant”, I’m not very educated in the fine points of Catholic doctrine but isn’t the College of Cardinals supposedly inspired to make the right choice of Pope? This man has got to cause some reflection on some of the foundational Catholic teaching. Better yet, look to inerrant holy Scripture and the Holy Spirit to guide you rather than these obviously flawed individuals. My apologies to my Catholic family and friends but I hope you’ll give heartfelt consideration to his comments such as these.
Isn’t that the whole point
He may be sorry for that statement.
“No man comes to the Father except through me.” Jesus Christ. I guess Jesus isn’t a Catholic anymore.
The pope is completely incorrect.
“You ask me if the God of the Christians forgives those who don’t believe and who don’t seek the faith. I start by saying – and this is the fundamental thing – that God’s mercy has no limits if you go to him with a sincere and contrite heart. The issue for those who do not believe in God is to obey their conscience.” If that quote is accurate, the Pope just said that there IS salvation apart from Christ. FALSE.
Wrong
What kind of teaching is this????? BEWARE
