With all of the controversy that surrounds Pope Francis, there’s a growing weight in the minds of Christians and Catholics that he’s not the man many of them thought him to be.
And if the things he said before Congress today haven’t convinced you of this truth, his comments made during an interview with the founder of La Republica should be enough to sway your conscience. Apparently, non-believers will be forgiven by God if they follow their conscience.

Boy is he wrong! If he really said this! If he did say this , then he doesn’t read the same Bible we do!!

Hello bound
It has said this in the official “Catacism Of The Catholic Church” since the beginning. It’s only news to people who don’t know the catholic faith. What kind of God would punish someone for never being catacized through no fault of their own? Read the Catacism of the Catholic Church. It’s all in there. All the answers to your questions about the church and why we believe what we believe. The Pope isn’t changing what we believe. He’s only asking us to change our tone and to refocus our faith on the core values of the faith.
THIS IS THE WORST POPE IN OUR HISTORY!!! HIM AND OBAMA CAME FROM THE SAME MOLD!! CANT BELIEVE THAT ROME DOES NOTHING TO HIM.,
Catholics are accepting of those who are of good character, respectful of others, etc. Just all around good people. I believe this is what the Pope is saying of the Lord, Himself. I learned that God is all forgiving and I personally believe that he is when the heart is truly remorseful. So, unlike other Christians, we don’t feel you need to “accept Jesus as your personal savior” to be Heaven worthy. A friend of mine once told me during a time I rejected my faith, yet stayed the good girl I was taught to be, that “I don’t care what you say, you’re going to Heaven anyway”. So the Pope is telling us that a good person will go to Heaven anyway. Seems great to me!
We don’t care what the pope says!
False prophet
That’s not what Jesus Said….but Jesus did mention in the last days, there would be many false prophets!
