With all of the controversy that surrounds Pope Francis, there’s a growing weight in the minds of Christians and Catholics that he’s not the man many of them thought him to be.
And if the things he said before Congress today haven’t convinced you of this truth, his comments made during an interview with the founder of La Republica should be enough to sway your conscience. Apparently, non-believers will be forgiven by God if they follow their conscience.

Perhaps there should be some light shed on some of the confusion here. First, don’t believe everything that the media tells you when Pope Francis speaks. Often he is taken out of context and the result is what we see in this feed…confusion and false assumption. So lets make one thing clear, Catholics are taught from day one that Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life, and whoever wishes to give glory to the Father goes through the Son first (paraphrasing). Now with that in mind, we as Christians know that God’s love is limitless and He in His omni-benevolent, and omni-potent act of to be, can save any soul. Here is what Catholics believe and affirm, is that (as an example) a Tibetan monk who sits on top of the Himalayas his entire life and never breaks any objective morals, and follows the golden rule without ever having exposure to Christ, can be saved. However, if the same monk were to meet some Jesuit missionaries and was completely exposed to the Truth of the Catholic Church and rejected it, then he condemns himself against God. No Catholic in the right mind believes that a self proclaimed and defensive atheist is going to save himself, but we believe that God’s mercy is limitless and the Church has developed doctrine around individuals who are simply ignorant of Christ and His Church.

Why do people like believing the bad things people say about someone, without good judgement? Why has satan blindfolded some people with so much hates that they wouldn’t like to hear the good things about the other, only bad things? How on earth would a pope who believe in christ, publicly come out and say “one doesn’t need to believe in christ to make heaven”? See, the media has proven itself us to be an enemy of the cross and have made most of you here to fight against the church of christ without reasoning. But i advise you people that speak abusively against the pope, not to be faultfinders or grumblers who follow their evil desires, people who slander people to their own advantage but that is because they do not have the spirit of God.
