The Holy Bishop of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis I, appears to be in cahoots with those seeking to create a one world government by encouraging the formation of one world religion. In other news, the Unitarians already tried that.
Pope Francis has said he believes all the world’s religions are “seeking or meeting God in different ways.” One of the most obvious problems with the idea of a one world religion is that some people seek God by blowing up school buses and stoning raped women for losing their honor.
Ignoring the convoluted moral, existential, and ethical considerations of forcing a Hasidic Jew to worship the same way as a Buddhist monk, there is the practical question of where a one world religion would lead. Let’s be honest, it would be another way of diffusing and alienating private citizens of every sovereign nation from practicing their faith as they see fit.

Amen!
I agree. I think Pope Benedict was “removed” in purpose. Where is he now? Is he still alive or what?
You are all missing the point he is making.
Remove the blinkers from your eyes and open your ears and re-read his message.
It is the religions and religious practices that differ but we are already worshipping the same God.
Kelly Ward I think so too. You never hear about him. It’s as if he never existed. There is so much I don’t agree with with this new Pope.
NO
If true, this is a shocking statement from a Christian world leader. The other gods that different religions worship have lived and died. They are still dead. The one and only God, God Almighty, maker of heaven and earth is alpha and omega, and still lives eternally. The Holy Bible, which I am sure the Pope has read, clearly points out the difference between false gods and God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
This only proves that all men have sinned, do sin, and have need of constant reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ. “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the coming of Jesus Christ” 1 Peter 1:7. I will pray for the Pope.
You cannot believe how many people I talk with believe the lie that all religions worship the same God. If they read the Bible they will find the truth and the truth will set them free.
FALSE!
You do NOT speak for me as a Chrsitian….. Period…
The pope needs to pray more……
