The Catholic Church gave you the “real book” in the year 397. And he is called”Father” as a teacher as all early Christians did with their spiritual leaders. A huge misinterpretation of Matt 23:9 isn’t saying to not call Priests Father, it is saying that we are to have no other Godly Father. Paul himself stated that “I have become your Father through Christ Jesus”
