I think the Pope should read the scriptures a little closer.
This announcement should send Catholics running from the Church. No justification. Shows that the leader of Catholic church does not understand the most basic and vital principal of the Savior’s mission. How can he lead the Catholic church spiritually? I am not a Catholic but if my church leaders said something so stupid I would leave immeaditly.
I can see why it has been interpreted that this would be the last pope. The Catholic church has got to understand that you can not give so much power to a single human. One day, you may wake up and find that a heretic has taken over.
You believe He failed, that’s on you, but don’t spout your blasphemy out to others. You like every other person will stand before almighty God, one day soon and you will come face to face with the Saviour of this world Jesus Christ and you will beg to have one more chance to speak truth and know Him, but then it will be too late, right now your alive, fall in your face before God and ask Him to forgive you of your sins, so He might save you, and you will escape the Destiny of all who will not receive Him.
