Then there was the alleged bombshell that the Pope went a step further when he discussed the “failure” of Jesus’ life and the “failure of the cross.”

Assuming this is not more f**e news, someone totally failed to do their homework. Jesus did not fail at all but completed a main part of God’s overall program. When He said that he came here to do His Fathers will and His last words were “it is finished” that is not failure unless someone wants to come up with more man made doctrines, to drain the pockets of those willing to be deceived. The ones who actually failed, are those who don’t recognize what Jesus accomplished and we must remember that in Matthew 7, Jesus taught that many will be denied by Him because they chose the wide road over the narrow road. “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death.” Pro 14:12
