Pope Francis is quite a contrast to his two predecessors. It would be very difficult to imagine either Pope John-Paul II or Pope Benedict saying the sort of things that Pope Francis does. Many of his remarks contradict basic Christian beliefs, let alone those that are unique to Roman Catholicism. It really makes one wonder what he is doing. Could it be that he holds leftist, socialist beliefs that are more sacred to him than his Christian faith? It would seem so.
He regularly makes some very provocative statements such as proposing that Europeans and Muslims must breed together to reduce a declining birth rate. He has also drawn comparisons between ISIS and Jesus, which is just plain blaspheme. What is this man doing?

I think the Pope is taking the issue from a strictly religious sense in which no man can do harm against another in the eyes of God. That may look like a contradiction and I may not have worded it properly but that seems to be the meaning to the message.
