Catholics do not actually pray to Mary. They pray THROUGH her. Somewhat like you would ask a mother to help you get something from her son (like grace). They don’t pray to objects….they are there to REMIND us….like pictures that you have of your children. You don’t talk to those pictures…you don’t think they’re real….they just remind you of them and bring warm feelings.
