When a shoplifter took shelter and Lech’s home refusing to come out, the cops did what they do best. They destroyed. Using chemical agents, flash-bangs and breaching rams, his house was torn apart, devastating the man and his family. According to Cop Block:
Leo Lech told local media outlets that he is angry at police and for good reason. According to Lech, his homeowner’s insurance will cover the structure of the home but everything inside is a complete loss. Lech’s son’s family, who were living in the home at the time, are now staying elsewhere with virtually nothing left of their belongings. “They are completely distraught. They lost everything too . . . things in there that can never be replaced.”
According to Lech, the Greenwood Village Police Department claimed it was not responsible for any of the damages and they have not returned any of his calls.

It’s time to send cops the message that our homes are not warzones. With all of the militarization that is going on on our soil, it’s clear what they think of us. It’s not okay for the cops to destroy lives at their discretion.

In this case , the cops are responsible – I would take it to court and then if the judge doesn’t side with the home owner , then I would find all those cops responsible and mess up their homes !
Cops are covered by a law that protects them or the department from being sued. At least here in Florida.
