Richards was asked, by Representative Rep. Mia Love (R-UT)
“in the annual report, Planned Parenthood’s annual report, says that you are providing over 489,000 breast cancer screenings, and you’ve stated that none of your clinics actually have the mammogram machines. How many of the — how many of your affiliates have those mammogram machines?”
Richards responded, “Well our health centers are part of our affiliates. We have more than 650 health centers. So an affiliate is simply the corporate structure for those health centers.”
Love then cut in to ask “how many of them have mammogram machines?”
Richards answered, “An affiliate isn’t a health center. … I think I spoke earlier, we do not have mammogram machines at our health centers. And we’ve never stated that we did.
Richards now concedes PP is just a place were 98% of the women through the doors are coming in the abort their children. This “myth” that PP has all this awesome healthcare for low income women is a lie. In fact, PP does charge for abortions, they are not free women’s healthcare, like a legitimate clinic. There budget is enormous, with “traveling expenses” totaling 14,000 per day! When asked about that number, Richards blushed, “…well our doctors and staff need to travel..” . This is not an entity that is in dire straights, with volunteers drenched in sweat working ungodly hours to minister to the poor.

Planned Parenthood regularly claims that the hidden camera videos that were released were “selectively edited,” but two forensic examinations found that to be false. As The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway reported, both forensic reports, including one commissioned by Planned Parenthood, “assert that there is no dubbing or alteration to the audio and no evidence of misrepresentative editing.”
The group that made the videos admitted that he edited the videos……. But go ahead, stop the 97% of the work on women and lower income families……
