Beauty and the beast has a lovely new look, military mamas in uniform nursing their babies. Maternal sentiment meets military strength in photographs taken by Tara Ruby, retired Air Force vet and mom, who was excited to hear there was a nursing room for military moms.
Tara wanted to use the images to decorate this new nursery at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.
Of course, something this noble and natural would come under criticism! Her photo, posted on Facebook, of the 10 women and babies nursing was taken down.
What is it?
Soldiers giving solace to their young that angers people? Get angry with me on page 2:
They should be at home…PERIOD. I love the time and graceful sacrifice of their bodies for the sustaining of another but they are sacred and rare they must not be on the front lines. I eat my words for others not I. uhmmm…not I. There is a grave difference.
It was taken to be hung in their pumping rooms. Just a supportive picture. But of course social media got a hold of it and everyone has a reason it’s bad.
what’s the fkn point!!!! get a fkn life
These WOMEN are doing absolutely nothing wrong! I can promise that many of you would gladly accept their (trained) protection if the enemy was attacking you! They are real women, mothers, and soldiers! Just because they wear a uniform doesn’t mean they can’t be a mother, this was taken to support them! Now feel free to stand behind them and support their choices or feel free to stand in front of them!
women wanted equality to vote now they want to help brest feeding r not they are brave women so live with it
Real moms wear camo.
Alot of things are on social media that shouldnt be. The uniform has been changed lately anyway. Beards.towels.dreadlocks.
rainbows. Constitution-Flags-borders-. Nothing is above change nowdays. Feeding tomorrows future Shouldnt be left out either. Would rather see this photo than see our pres buddy buddy with the enemy. We got bigger prob. than this pic
I don’t see the point.
