PETA: ‘Why Cheese Is the Most Sexist Thing You Can Eat’

PETA is fighting sexism.

“We rail against sexism in all its many forms—except, perhaps, when it comes to what’s on our plates.”

PETA feminists are here to save the day. Rape is bad. And because feminism no longer has to worry about rape, it’s time to devote all their resources to fighting the next closest thing being assaulted, cows.

Contrary to popular belief, female cows produce milk only when they’re pregnant or nursing. They make milk for the same reason that human women do: to feed their babies. Cows who are imprisoned on dairy farms are forcibly impregnated through artificial insemination again and again on rape racks. Rape racks. All for your milk, cheese, and yogurt.

You guessed it. Much like the title of this bizarrely disturbing yet inadvertently hilarious article published on PETA’S own website implies,

“Why Cheese Is the Most Sexist Thing You Can Eat”

The most sexist thing you can eat according to PETA is dairy products. And I get to hand it to these nut jobs over at PETA, they are introducing people to completely new ways of thinking.

Who would’ve ever thought food could be sexist? Do you know why I’m really going so hard against these mindless quacks? These stupid ludicrous statements are masking the truth.

After their calves have been taken away from them, the mother cows are hooked up to milking machines two or more times a day. Through the use of intense milking regimes and sometimes drugs, their reproductive systems are exploited and they’re forced to produce much more milk than they normally would. The average cow today produces more than four times as much milk as cows did in 1950.

Mass farming and the way our food is processed is a serious issue. However, it is not because drinking milk is sexist or that cows are being raped. People, PEOPLE, are hurt by poor industry health regulations and standards enforced by the FDA when it comes to food quality.

By turning the discussion of mass farming, animal consumption, and artificial hormones into a debate on sexism, the true point becomes lost. Instead of hearing ‘Hey did you know artificial hormones affect human development and health”, we hear “drinking milk makes you sexist”. Instead of hearing, “Hey do you want to chip in with a few of your friends and raise a few cows to make sure the milk you’re giving your kids doesn’t contain chemicals or hormones?”, we hear “Don’t drink ANY dairy products or you’re Satan”. You see the difference? Real problems, real solutions are pushed out of the public discussion by these self-termed progressive activists.

The rallying cry of PETA below harms the very animals they’re trying to help, and more importantly, actual human lives.

Help end violence, reproductive control, and rape of females of animal species who desperately need us to speak up for them. Try delicious plant-based milk, vegan cheese, and dairy-free yogurt. Our vegan mentors can answer your questions and help you leave sexism off your plate.
