Pelosi Just Can’t Seem to Get George W. Bush Out of Her Thoughts

Nancy Pelosi is keeping her deepest, darkest secret from the world no longer.  A recent excerpt from her diary explains the whole sordid affair:

June 2, 2017, 14:13:

Dear Diary,

Today, I woke up from another dream about George.  I’m quite sure that it was because of the little article about him visiting that Veteran’s Hospital…

I have told my therapist that I am making a concerted effort to halt these feelings, but I feel compelled.  When his face appears on the pages of People Magazine, or when I see him stumbling so adorably toward a podium in the VCR tape reruns of newsreels that I have in my closet, it makes my heart go pitter.

The other day, as I was yelling at my personal assistant because he forgot the avocado on my crispy fried chicken sandwich, I caught a glimpse of him on the television in the background.  MSNBC was doing a short expose on him when he had thrown up in Japan.  Oh, I wish they would expose even more of him…

I promised my therapist that I will be working extra hard to keep him sublimated in the deepest, darkest crevices of my nether-regions.  But I really shouldn’t make promises I can’t keep.  That’s kind of behavior is reserved for my constituents!  Ha, ha.

For now, goodbye, Diary.  I must run a cold bath.

Nancy

Well, there you have it.  An admission of cherishing love and admiration and lust.

As you can see, Pelosi is completely starstruck.  She doesn’t even know which end is up anymore.  A reporter even attempted to correct her, but she was probably thinking to herself, “How dare you speak in my presence when I have the microphone!”  Ignoring him, she continued on with an explanation of Trump’s four stages of abuse and finished with a flurry of government-speak when someone asked a question about the looming debt ceiling vote.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) keeps confusing Donald Trump with George W. Bush.

During a press briefing on Friday morning, she again referred to “President Bush” when she was discussing Trump. Pelosi may have had

Bush on the brain because she said earlier on “Morning Joe” that she wished the 43rd president was in the White House now.

“First, he tries to charm you,” Pelosi said of Trump. “President Bush tries to charm you. If that doesn’t work, he tries to bully you. If that doesn’t work, he walks away.”

One reporter interrupted to say “Trump” to correct her, but Pelosi ignored him.

A few minutes later, someone walked to the podium and handed her a note, apparently letting her know of the mistake.

“I said President Bush? I’m sorry, I meant to say—it’s hard for me to say it,” Pelosi said, evidently suggesting she did not want to say “President Trump.” “Poor President Bush. I apologize.”

If this continues, there may be a moment where Bush might have to have a restraining order issued against the House Minority Leader.  If Pelosi is not snapped out of her clear obsession with the former president, they may have to resort to forcing her to submit to closed de-programming sessions with Cindy Sheehan.
