Pastor’s Son Arrested in Louisiana for Possession of Cocaine

When Louisiana state troopers reached John Crow’s plane, they found 15.6 kilograms of cocaine in his luggage, which was valued at $468,000.

Since news of his son’s arrest reached Tamaulipas, Crow has been the target of criticism from community members in the state capital of Ciudad Victoria. The pastor has also received support from other pastors who have spoken out in TV interviews stating that Crow’s son is an adult responsible for his own actions.

The border city of Brownsville is just north of the border from Matamoros, Tamaulipas which is a major hub for the Mexican Gulf Cartel.

Despite its relatively small size, Brownsville has long been considered a main drug trafficking corridor with tons of narcotics moving through the city on their way to northern cities in Texas and from there to the rest of the country.

John Crow is being charged with drug possession and possession of drug proceeds. His father has received support from other pastors who have spoken out, saying that John Crow is an adult and is responsible for his own actions. Maybe it’s true what they say about being a pastor’s kid.
