Howard-Browne is not just any evangelical preacher. He recently was one of a group of prominent pastors who met with President Trump in the Oval Office and huddled around him to pray for him.
A South African native, Howard-Browne was born there in 1961 and his family emigrated to the United States in 1987. He is pastor of The River At Tampa Bay, a church he and his wife founded in 1996. He also heads Revival Ministries International.
The charismatic preacher told a Revival Ministries International audience about his unsettling encounter with the GOP veteran of Congress.
He said he spent three hours “from 9:30 in the evening until 12:30am with one of the senior ranking members of Congress.” When trying to relate the story on the CBN network, “they cut it out.” That’s why he decided to go more public “because we have to.”
He said there is a plot on Capitol Hill to take the president out, I said you mean by impeachment or by indictment – he said no, to take him out, he will be removed suddenly from office,” said Howard-Browne, before adding, “you can read between the lines”.
Noting this congressman has been in office since 1996, Howard-Browne claims he was told “there’s nothing we can do to stop it.”
From the earliest days of the Trump presidential campaign, insiders and supporters have worried about possible attempts to assassinate the unconventional candidate, whom the GOP establishment clearly loathed.
The pastor believes part of the animus against President Trump is that he’s been as close to the evangelical movement as any president since Ronald Reagan. Of course, Reagan miraculously survived an assassination attempt in March 1981, just weeks after assuming office.
The Tampa area pastor has called on people around the world to “pray around the clock for the protection of the president”. He was responsible for taking the image of pastors praying over the president that went viral around the world.
If what the Congressman told Howard-Browne is true, it would appear that the deep state is frustrated with how slow the Russia-collusion investigation is proceeding and may be prepared to take extreme measures.”
As was seen with the recent assassination attempt on House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, the relentless attacks on the president by Democrats, the hostile media and deranged leftists could also provide an inspiration for unstable individuals to attempt to harm President Trump or even worse, provide a cover for a Deep State plot to take him out of office “suddenly,”
