Paris Terrorist Attacker Was Rescued From Sunken Migrant Boat

This was abundantly clear when 25-year-old Ahmed Almuhamed and another family member were rescued off the coast of Greece when their boat capsized and they were in danger of drowning.  The were processed as refugees, but it was not possible to tell if their documents were legitimate, so they were put aboard another boat and continued on.

That act of compassion contributed to the deaths of over one hundred in Paris.  CNN has now reported that Almuhamed and perhaps two of the other terrorists that participated in the attack on Paris on Saturday night were among the flood of Syrian “refugees” that have been coming into Europe over the last several months.  CNN reporter Clarissa Ward stated:

…it now appears that as many as three attackers possibly posed as refugees, gaining access into Europe on the refugee route going from Syria into Turkey, then on to the Greek island of Leros, and then from there on through countries–Serbia, Croatia and into Central Europe. It’s believed that at least one was traveling on what was most probably a fake Syrian passport but there’s also talk about two fake Turkish passports–ISIS here really exploiting this refugee crisis.

And so Ahmed Almuhamed, rescued from drowning and then provided with transport to a more secure and safe future as a “refugee” accepted the kindness and compassion of selfless and anonymous rescuers, only to launch a subsequent murderous attack against people he knew nothing about and had had no interaction with. It is beyond understanding that any person could be so incredibly heartless, especially after being the beneficiary of such help and kindness.

It is equally outside the bounds of reason that any person could commit such atrocities as those exhibited in Paris on Saturday in the name of religion. And yet this is not the story of one insane, crazed individual, but of a multitude of groups all professing commitment to a common religious creed. It is time to examine what kind of belief system might spawn such evil and inhumanity, and to recognize that the ethical orientation and belief system of the West is not mirrored in the belief system of these barbaric animals.

It is also time to rethink the commitment that the U.S. and other Western nations have made to accept tens or hundreds of thousands of “refugees”, knowing that they could very well be Islamic terrorists seeking a way in to kill anyone that they consider to be an enemy of Islam.

At this writing, President Barack Obama has reaffirmed his plan to allow over 100,000 Syrian refugees in the U.S. over the next two years. It is one thing to be charitable and compassionate, and quite another to invite the enemy into your front room for dinner.
