Paris Agreement Advocates: United States is a “Rogue Country”, Better Off Out

This week, Donald Trump is expected to make an announcement about the United States’ participation in the Paris Agreement. Reports seem to indicate that Trump is planning on exiting the treaty, setting off a firestorm among climate advocates. But the outrage may not be why you might think.

Trump may be the “Art of the Deal” president,  but the left has made it abundantly clear that they want nothing to do with the administration. This will be true no matter what Trump decides to do with the climate agreement. If Trump stays put, climate advocates will argue that the treaty would be better off without the United States. If Trump leaves, they plan to call the United States a “rogue nation” that doesn’t care about the environment.
