While both the President and the Pope continue to add fuel to the growing controversy that is illegal immigration, new statistics released by The Washington Examiner claim that one out of every five illegal immigrants apprehended at the border of the United States and Mexico in 2014 had a criminal record.
This totals at around 100,000 convicted criminals. Liberals continue to praise legislation that would make illegal immigrants citizens of the United States, but with numbers like this, it’s hard to find the benefits.
