It’s tough to remember a campaign that has turned as vicious as this one. Groups hired to incite violence at one’s opponent’s campaign events. Threatening to throw one’s opponent in jail if elected. Leaked documents that link one candidate to a variety of criminal acts.
Surely there is nobody left who expects things to die down before the election. On the contrary, expect things to heat up some more in the short time left — probably a lot more.
The videos released by James O’Keefe have been so devastating that they have already created a storm and have resulted in the resignation of Clinton operatives. And they have been fuel for Trump to threaten litigation against the Clinton campaign.
As if all of that isn’t enough, Mr. O’Keefe has claimed that he’s not finished yet. Hold off on that lawsuit, Donald, the best may be yet to come.
