In a recent pre-trial hearing in Xenia, Ohio, a judge agreed with a prosecutor’s motion to prohibit the defendant from mentioning the Constitution or the constitutionality of the law he was charged with violating.
Judge Catherine Barber stated “there will be no mentioning of the Constitution” to the defendant, Virgil Vaduva.
The prosecutor made the claim that mentioning the Constitution “will confuse the jury,” to which Vaduva replied that uttering words on a public sidewalk, his panhandling charge, constitutes free speech.

So a U.S. judge violates the 1st Amendment because a person was acting legally under the 1st Amendment? What kind of MO-RON is that “judge”?
Our nation is buckling darn quick! How many Americans to one Muslim?? And there’s nothing all we Americans can do?? Naaaw!!!
This judge must be disbarred and suspended, and should lose all benefits.
She has missed the point of being a judge in our country hasn’t she.
THAT OHIO JUDGE WOULD NOT BE A JUDGE, NOR EVEN HAVE A COURTROOM BUT NOT FOR OUR CONSTITUTION. WHAT IS MISSING IS HER PLEDGE TO SUPPORT, PROTECT AND DEFEND IT!….AND THAT IS INDEED A SHAME~
I would be laughing in her face, probably going to jail for contempt of court but laughing in her face none the less.
