Oh The Irony: Cuomo Banned Ads He Disliked, But For This Video Series


Governor Andrew Cuomo has ordered a takedown of ads across his state because he didn’t like the conent they contained.

The ads, which had been approved by the Metropolitan Transit Authority, featured Nazi imagery and were meant to promote an Amazon video series, The Man in the High Castle.” They were plastered on the inside of the 42nd Street shuttle train that travels between Times Square and Grand Central Station. Additionally, the ad imagery wrapped around seats on the subway.

The show is set after World War II, and explores what may have happened if the Axis powers won the war. Ridley Scott is the executive producer.

Apparently the idea of a power hungry government falls a little too close to home for the New York Governor. Check out the video below and see for yourself.
