What kind of people does President Obama have in his administration to help lead our nation?
Take a look at John Holdren, Obama’s science czar, who once wrote a book that advocated such things as force abortions, adding contaminants to the water to mass sterilize the population, single mothers who have their kids taken by the State, etc.

This guy is so off his rocker.
Somebody slap him.
That was an unusual snopes thread. I’m used to seeing it as a normal page and not a discussion in a forum.
I agree with the blogger, it may not be how he thinks today, or even how he thought back then. After speaking with Annie and Paul Ehrlich, they had made it very clear that they said those ideas in the book were spoken of as ideas that had been p$#%&!@*ed around, not that they in any way advocated for forced abortions.
Holdren office stated, “The quotations used to suggest that Dr. Holdren supports coercive approaches to limiting population growth were taken from a 1977 college textbook on environmental science and policy, of which he was the third author. The quoted material was from a section of the book that described different possible approaches to limiting population growth and then concluded that the authors’ own preference was to employ the noncoercive approaches before the environmental and social impacts of overpopulation led desperate societies to employ coercive ones. Dr. Holdren has never been an advocate of compulsory abortions or other repressive means of population limitation.”
A lot of things can be taken out of context. I’m not sure if he does really feel the way he did, because in my way of thinking, they still came up with those ideas for the book, which is kind of scary. On the other hand, the p$#%&!@*ages were misrepresented and without an actual copy of the book to be read, it’s nearly impossible to see the whole picture. It’s easy for us to see that the book is real and the exerts are real and piece together an inaccurate picture, but those words were/are so damning. I’d like to get my hands on the book itself and see if it was really misrepresented by others.
At the very least, Holdren and the Ehrlich’s do not feel any of those methods are the best way to go about it. They feel population control is no longer an issue at all. I see no reason to believe they still do, but I still want to read the book myself to get a better picture so I may just find it somewhere. lol
By the way, here’s the link to the page I found that gave a lot of information. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2009/jul/29/glenn-beck/glenn-beck-claims-science-czar-john-holdren-propos/

I think he i$#%&!@*lers child.
They did not come up with those ideas. They were “going around” long before. Professors do not publish new ideas in textbooks. That’s not the purpose of a textbook.
The sad thing is, that liberals either won’t read this or that they agree with it.
That is what Annie and Paul Ehrlich said too … those were ideas that had been p$#%&!@*ed around. It’s just too easy to take things out of context when given only partial quotes from a book.
this guy is NUTTY AS A FRUIT CAKE you can see it in his eyes
Sorry boys and girls but he’s right especially in third world countries the population explosion on our planet because we send food no education and no jobs you are seeing the results I would overpopulated world numbers don’t lie
