Violence in San Bernardino Labeled Workplace Violence
Within forty minutes of the shooting at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino last Wednesday, police had the suspect’s name and were broadcasting it on police scanners: Syed Farook. It was tweeted several times, and Obama was briefed on the situation. But when Obama made a public announcement about the shootings, he once again suggested that it was possibly workplace violence, he avoided any mention of Islamic terrorism, and he switched the narrative to the evils of guns and the lack of gun control, including, of course, those terrible Republicans who were somehow, someway responsible for the slaughter. Democrat politicians also jumped in to denounce the lack of gun control, almost before the bodies were removed from the facility.
Farrok and his assassin wife where killed in a gun battle shortly after their brutal attack at the Inland Regional Center, and police found pipe bombs, guns and ammunition in their car and condo, so there was little doubt this was not a well planned, and this information, too, was broadly published by Thursday. Nevertheless, Breitbart News reported that as of Friday the Whitehouse was still refusing to admit what everyone else knew:
The Obama administration is still reluctant to call the attack in California an act of terrorism, citing the ongoing investigation by the F.B.I. before they might be willing to specifically define the event.
At the White House today, reporters questioned Press Secretary Josh Earnest about the reported details of the shooters, including the recent revelation that one of them pledged allegiance to ISIS.
“I don’t want to talk about the situation because there’s still an ongoing investigation to determine exactly what transpired and what motivated those individuals to take the terrible indefensible violent action that they took,” Earnest said.
And so the pattern is repeated, with Obama and his administration refusing to recognize that Islam is giving birth to out of control, violent, murderous groups such as ISIS, Al-Qaida, Boko Haram, and a host of other terrorist organizations, and he is doing little to protect the American people or to honestly inform them of the real danger that is coming from Islam.
President Obama’s first responsibility is to secure the safety of the nation and her people, but he has failed time after time to do that. His response to the attack on Paris by ISIS was equally tepid, and it is perhaps time to revisit the real question. What is Obama’s real relationship to Islam, and why does he seem to value that more than he does the lives and safety of his fellow citizens? The answer may just be too painful for the nation to hear, because the logical conclusion would simply be impeachment. Sadly, the Democrat party, the mainstream media, and even some “moderate” Republicans have shown that they are more interested in the status quo than in the truth, so impeachment, though richly deserved, is not even on the table.
There will be more attacks by Islamic terror groups on U.S. locations, of that we can be sure. Obama is doubling down on that likelihood by inviting tens of thousands of Middle Eastern Muslim refugees into the country without adequate vetting, once again showing that his loyalties lie outside the safety of United States citizens. The question now is if the nation will be able to survive this final year of Obama’s administration, and if the nation will ever hold him accountable for the extreme damage he has inflicted on this nation due to his allegiance to Islam and the Muslim attack on Western civilization.
