There’s a lot of debate over what decisions or actions Obama might make in the last couple of months of his presidency. Will he create some crisis that Mr. Trump then has to deal with? Or will he just go on more pointless US or world tours, waiving to whomever might come out to see him like some failing, ageing rock star? One thing is for sure, he’s not going to clean up any of the messes he’s made. The hope is he just won’t create any more. Unfortunately, that hope is unlikely to be met.
Having pursued an aggressive, incoherent foreign policy that has had nothing to do with protecting Americans, it would appear his parting gift to America and the world is the creation of yet another terrorist group.
