Here’s a bit of news that is sure to surprise no one: As Obama attempts to push the narrative that our economy has improved under his stewardship, the opposite seems to be true. It’s correct that our economy is breaking records, but unfortunately for Obama, those records are hardly enviable. Case-in-point: Participation in the US economy now stands at a 38 year low.
How is this possible? While our official unemployment rate has fallen in recent years, that rate doesn’t take into account those who have simply given up looking for a job. It seems Obama’s economy has been so awful that people have simply given up hope. As they stop looking for jobs, the unemployment rate decreases, but the amount of Americans out of work continues to climb. Breitbart has the real numbers on the Obama economy.
