Obama continued to legitimize Islamic terrorists with an opt-ed published in the LA Times, stating that ISIS jihadists have ‘legitimate grievances’.
“More broadly, groups like al Qaeda and ISIL exploit the anger that festers when people feel that injustice and corruption leave them with no chance of improving their lives,” Obama wrote. “The world has to offer today’s youth something better.”
“Efforts to counter violent extremism will only succeed if citizens can address legitimate grievances through the democratic process and express themselves through strong civil societies,” he added. “Those efforts must be matched by economic, educational and entrepreneurial development so people have hope for a life of dignity.”
So all the beheadings, kidnapping, rape and various atrocities carried out by Islamic extremists for the last 1400 years was due to ‘legitimate grievances’?

The truth is the US started this war in 1953 when we overthrew the democratically elected leader in Iran and replaced him with a dictator. We’ve been meddling in the Middle East for a long time which causes blowback and creates terrorist. It doesn’t help that Israel and the US fund terrorism at the same time.
