Obama State Department Refuses to Acknowledge One Vital Fact About Brussels Terror Attack

Just like in San Bernardino, where the Obama administration refused to call it terrorism, even though those on the ground knew it to be so, this time, Obama has refused to share the number of  American victims in Belgium, claiming that the situation is still “too fluid”.

The State Department’s John Kirby refused to confirm the number of U.S. citizens injured causing the Associated Press chief reporter to walk out of the press conference.  Kirby said to give preliminary numbers would be  “irresponsible”, yet Belgium seemed to have no qualms sharing these facts.

U.S. citizens were hurt in Brussels and the Obama State Department is once again in cover-up mode, protecting the terrorist over the American citizen. While the Belgium government was willing to release what are initial numbers for injured Americans, State Department John Kirby said he would not, as it was irresponsible.

During the 5:00 p.m. Eastern hour of MSNBC’s live coverage concerning the terror attacks in Belgium, breaking news anchor and former NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams shot back at State Department spokesman John Kirby when Kirby claimed that the attacks in Brussels illustrate why Islamic terrorist groups like ISIS are on the run.

Kirby prefaced this bizarre spin from the Obama administration by ruling that the U.S. and allies should take threats from ISIS very seriously” seeing as how “they have threatened western targets now for a long, long time and it’s a threat that we are all too familiar with sadly.”

One can now see why Obama did not immediately respond from Cuba after the terror attack, he knew this attack showed ISIS on the run.  According to this narrative, there is nothing to worry about and certainly nothing to see, move along.

Kirby continued answering Williams by discussing the administration’s ISIS policy, saying it is “important to remember”  that they are “under increasing pressure in Iraq and Syria, and we are seeing them resort to more traditional terrorist tactics, like suicide bombings and car bombs and those kinds of things because they aren’t able to hold and grab the territory they once were because they are suffering a lot of hits to their resources.”

Therefore, this type of terror is a better type of behavior for the world to deal with.  Kirby claimed that ISIS is having trouble recruiting, thus making the leap that they are not operating as efficiently as they were; this attack shows that they are weaker.

Williams quashed this asinine train of thought telling Kirby not to minimize these forms of terrorism.

Yes, but it’s terrorism….We have — we have NYPD with automatic weapons outside this building in New York City and outside subway stations and train stations and airports and city upon city across the county, because it’s terrorism. So they may be on the run. They may hiring child warriors, but it is a gruesomely effective line of work.

Seeing as how Williams bluntly made his point, Kirby admitted that he was “not dismissing all the violence that these people are capable of or the danger that they represent, not just in the region but to our allies and partners in Europe and frankly, even here at home.”
