President Obama stated Monday that he would support a 20% pay reduction for retiring military personnel as well as redefining benefits for those that leave before achieving 20 year of service. So it’s only a matter of time before these recommendations are realized.
Obama has been cutting natural born citizens out of the military while simultaneously hiring illegal immigrants. He has also been ending highly successful military programs and allowing different components the military to simply degrade, prompting the Washington Times to state that Obama has our decimated our military, leaving the US only ‘marginally able’ to defend itself.

so of the proposed redefinitions of benefits are actually not bad. They’re trying to find a better way of going about it than just paying someone 50% of their base or more. The health benefits should never be cut. The cost of having a military is taking care of the people that break themselves for it. Some of the ideas that have been tossed around involve expanding and modifying TSP (Thrift Savings Plan). Things like, but not limited to, a lump sum payment of what retirement benefits would be until they can collect TSP and making TSP mado for everyone. It is amazing how a person could possibly put their life on the line to protect the freedom of this great nation recieve such little pay and minute respect from those he or she defends.A lifes work is worth so little to those whom where suits and supposedly make the decision weather the defending forces of this great empire get to see their loved ones again or not.
