President Obama stated Monday that he would support a 20% pay reduction for retiring military personnel as well as redefining benefits for those that leave before achieving 20 year of service. So it’s only a matter of time before these recommendations are realized.
Obama has been cutting natural born citizens out of the military while simultaneously hiring illegal immigrants. He has also been ending highly successful military programs and allowing different components the military to simply degrade, prompting the Washington Times to state that Obama has our decimated our military, leaving the US only ‘marginally able’ to defend itself.

Why don’t he take a pay cut. Congress needs to take his travel expenses away.
ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS SHOULD RECEIVE ENLISTED MILITARY PAY FOR THE LENGTH OF THEIR TERM! I BET THAT WE WOULD NOT HAVE LIFETIME POLITICIANS.

I think the better way would be to “cut politicians pay to “0”, benefits to “0”, and give that money to our military, both here and abroad, until the “changing of the guard” and someone different is in office. Someone that thinks about our military, our people, our country, our friends, before they even think about themselves. Wouldn’t that be a wonderful thing to happen? Also, during this period of time, OUR HOUSE will be closed down, and no one will live in it except for military to ensure it is safe, and staff to keep it clean and running. The occupants of the current administration will have to find their own housing with their own money, and if they need protection, that comes out of their pocket also. Just saying.

Don’t forget to include yourself and Senate and Congress oh and the Supreme Court and everyone else on the pay roll on federal pay…IRS CIA FBI ECT ECT ECT…
So some people are shocked by the way congress -Supports our vetrains- ask the indians how well congress honors their treaties. Why doesn’t congress cut their own benifits? Stop giving away money they don’t have to foreign governments.
That’ll stop enlistment of good people in the military…
