Even as Pope Francis flew back to Rome, President Obama immediately issued a stern warning to Christians, threatening them that their attempts to assert their religious liberty to oppose gay rights will fail.
“We affirm that we cherish our religious freedom and are profoundly respectful of religious traditions,” he falsely insisted during a dramatic speech at a LGTB fundraiser in New York City on Sunday night. He glowingly praising the progress made on gay rights under his administration. “But we also have to say clearly that our religious freedom doesn’t grant us the freedom to deny our fellow Americans their constitutional rights.”

He simply supports the state governor’s position that your personal beliefs cannot be used to discriminate against others, especially when you hold a governed position. I think that’s fair. I work in a quasi-govmt job and I make darn sure to treat and speak to everyone with the same, polite language and demeanor. Besides Kim Davis signed on for this job with the knowledge she had to uphold all the laws current and future.
I quit a job before that violated my personal ethics and beliefs. What makes her too special to follow suit? Nothing. She needs to be a lay and a responsible human being and just step down.
