In Obama’s diatribe delivered on atrocities committed in the name of religion, our President tried to state that “People committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ,” during the Crusades.
Just like other Muslims confronted about jihad, Obama is quick to cite the crusades as one of Christianity’s black marks and the reason for hostilities between Christianity and Islam. This is, like most of what comes out of BO’s mouth, is completely fabricated garbage.
Unknown to many ignorant infidels, the crusades were actually carried out as a defensive measure against Islamic jihad, not because they were somehow imperialistic.

Did you know: As Islam grows in a nation after it enters, it annihilates any other religion over the course of time.Turkey, which was a Christian nation. Today it is 99.7% Muslim. The same growth curve is seen in ALL nations Islam enters. The same happened in Egypt, North Africa, Iraq, Syria … All were at one time Christian nations. In summary, the Crusades were completely reactionary to a multi-century onslaught by jihadists. While the purpose of the Crusades were to free Christians .When 1.3 billion Christians begin systematically slaughtering innocent people, then we can talk about Christianity. the purpose of Islamic jihad was and is to conquer and kill the kafir (non-Muslims). There is no moral equivalence to the two.

The Crusades, which occurred off and on from the 11th century to the 14th century, were the Christian attempt to push back Islamic expansion in the Middle East with the primary goal to make the holy places in and near Jerusalem accessible to Christians.
As Islamic expert Bernard Lewis reports, “The Crusade was a delayed response to the jihad, the holy war for Islam, and its purpose was to recover by war what had been lost by war—to free the holy places of Christendom and open them once again, without impediment, to Christian pilgrimage.”
