In Obama’s diatribe delivered on atrocities committed in the name of religion, our President tried to state that “People committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ,” during the Crusades.
Just like other Muslims confronted about jihad, Obama is quick to cite the crusades as one of Christianity’s black marks and the reason for hostilities between Christianity and Islam. This is, like most of what comes out of BO’s mouth, is completely fabricated garbage.
Unknown to many ignorant infidels, the crusades were actually carried out as a defensive measure against Islamic jihad, not because they were somehow imperialistic.

Muslims had been attacking Christians for over 400 years before the crusades even were embarked upon, beginning with Muhammad’s invasion of Byzantine Christian Empire in 634 A.D. Christians were trying to recapture their lands and stop all the kidnappings, rapes and killings carried out by Muslims.
The first Christian crusade was in 1095 A.D. and was strictly limited to recapturing formerly Christian territory, mostly in Levant and Anatolia. Furthermore, all the territory reclaimed from the Islamic invasion forces during the Crusades has since been returned to Muslims with the exception of Israel, which has been returned to Jewish rule after 2,500 years of occupation by various factions, which includes centuries of Muslim subjugation.
