Obama used his bad joke to call for a national policy mandating paid maternity leave, noting a study that said one-in-four working moms returned to the workforce just two weeks after giving birth. For a man who strongly advocates killing children in the womb, why is he making jokes about men carrying babies to term?
It makes no sense.
He chided Congress for failing to pass any legislation, pointing out that the United States was the only advanced country that didn’t guarantee paid maternity leave. But, since he does not believe in maternity, why is he going down this path and making fun of pregnancy? The obvious answer is that this is not about pregnancy. It is about burdening business with yet more entitlements to pay out.
“Find a way to make paid family, and paid medical leave a reality for all Americans,” he said. “That’s something we should be doing.”
Since he strongly believes that what all Americans should abort their babies, his words ring hollow.
Sorry, you can’t have it both ways.
