Obama has surrounded himself with characters completely unbecoming of the presidency, but he is always comfortable lecturing others about their perceived shortcomings.
“I speak to all of you in this room as reporters, as well as the American public, I think, I just want to emphasize the degree to which we are in serious times and this is a really serious job,” he said. “This is not entertainment. This is not a reality show. This is a contest for the presidency of the United States.”
Obama added that he was “concerned” that reporters were too interested in the drama of the 2016 campaign, rather than the serious issues of the day.
“What I’m concerned about is the degree to which reporting and information starts emphasizing the spectacle and the circus,” he said. “Because that’s not something we can afford.”
“I have no thoughts on Mr. Trump’s Tweets … as a general rule, I don’t pay attention to Mr. Trump’s Tweets,” Obama said shortly. “I think that will be true for the next six months, so you can just file that one.”
Obama warned Republicans, especially women, to take a close look at Trump, asking them to consider whether he represented their values.
As the photo with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian demonstrates, Obama is as two-faced as a person can be when citing how he feels about the seriousness of the office. Obama was one of the most unprepared candidates for president to ever run, and his values of anti-Americanism, pro-drug use, radical pro-abortion support including partial birth abortion, and anti-white racism that has created a racial divide not seen since the 1950’s make him uniquely unqualified to criticize anyone running for president, let alone Donald Trump.
As a community organizer, Obama’s accomplishments were in stirring up trouble in the hood, and as a state and national senator he did nothing but prepare for his presidential run. Virtually anyone running for president now will far outperform the ultra-partisan Obama, and he should simply hunker down, close his mouth, and try not to make any more messes for the duration of his presidency.
