In stating that he wanted to help the poor and change the way Republicans think, Obama recently declared at Georgetown University that we – of course meaning ‘he’ – needs to change the way Fox News and the media reports.
Obama claimed that Fox News was doing nothing more than inciting hate for the poor, and because we need to change people’s impressions of the poor all media needs to change.

Rush Limbaugh vs. Bill O’Reilly- Tonight on “The Factor” Bill O’Reilly played a clip of Rush Limbaugh commenting (Paraphrasing) that Fox News was hard on conservative candidates just to show they were not bias against Liberals. I agree with Rush. This is a repost of my take on that issue. Today I watched a show on FOX called Media Buzz. Chris Wallace admitted that they CAN’T pose “Tough” questions to any Democrat because they won’t appear, or do any FOX debates. Chris and Bret Baier bubbled over in glee how successful they were in making both Rubio and Cruz look bad by showing old videos when they had different positions on immigration and amnesty. They were happy throwing question after question just to make the candidates look bad, both on the debates and on, one on one show interviews. So how stupid can FOX be, not to realize how bias towards Democrats this kind of journalism is? Realize this, all the FOX viewer sees, is Republican candidates getting beat up by the moderators while no Democrat ever answering for any position they take. (No matter how Liberal, radical or socialist).

It seem that 90% of my media rants are about FOX. Does that make me a hypocrite? Maybe so, because it shows I watch FOX all the time. In my opinion FOX is far and away the fairest political news outlet. However, I do see signs that now and then they cave to political pressure. Their loyalty to Megan Kelly is one example of that. An example of when the station chose loyalty to a moderator over integrity, allowing a clearly bias moderator ask the candidates questions.
the only problem with that is, as far as I can tell, most republicans don’t ‘think’. Between religious extremism and feeding on crazed right wing talking heads, they don’t seem to be in touch at all. No way to fix that.
