In stating that he wanted to help the poor and change the way Republicans think, Obama recently declared at Georgetown University that we – of course meaning ‘he’ – needs to change the way Fox News and the media reports.
Obama claimed that Fox News was doing nothing more than inciting hate for the poor, and because we need to change people’s impressions of the poor all media needs to change.

According to a study, conducted by the University of Maryland published December 10, 2010, Fox viewers were the most consistently misinformed among news consumers.
A later study published May 3, 2012 by Fairleigh Dickinson University found that Fox News viewers were even more misinformed than people that watch no news. Suggesting that Fox News has a negative impact on people’s perception of reality.
