Barack Obama is once again circumventing the legislative process in order to push his administration’s unpopular leftist agenda. First, it was illegal immigration, then transgender bathrooms. This time, it’s guns.
Earlier this year, the White House announced new policies for those receiving social security benefits in conjunction with the president’s January 5th executive order on gun ownership. When it was released, few seemed to notice that the order allowed the administration to withhold Second Amendment rights from those who collect social security.
The move makes little logical sense. Social Security beneficiaries have never proven themselves as particularly violent or incapable of gun ownership. Instead, it seems as if this is part of Obama’s larger plan to slowly and surreptitiously restrict gun ownership whenever and wherever possible.
The administration was likely hoping that this slow creep of new regulations would go unnoticed until it was too late to be repealed. Fortunately, the watchful eyes of conservative media caught them in the act.

How did it do that? It seems that a group who calls themselves Truth and Action would show how his executive order took away the 2nd of social security collectors.

Ronnie DeWitt Lyles I heard the “formula” was changed so it came out low…(I “think” it was not count food or energy or gas?? just know it was 2 very pricey items)…just like the report on unemployment is also rigged. Prices have gone up!! Maybe you don’t shop for food…not only prices, but the containers are shrinking and shrinking! Gasoline in Calif. (due to so many taxes) is always higher! Even when we hear $45 a barrel and we have a huge surplus…prices don’t go down. I paid $2.50 for regular, but up the street it was $3.09! Utilities have increased tremendously here…and now they want a 23% electric increase where I live (spread out over a couple years) and I am still trying to live with the water increase due to drought (and that is after I had to let my lawn die)! Insurances are increasing again. Even pet food which some elderly have resorted to. Elderly on that one fixed income are making choices between RX and food!! Obama denied increases “I think” 3 times…or is this the 4th time?? Economically, a fact our dollar value is shrinking…also!! Ronnie, you must have never had to “live paycheck to paycheck”?! Have some empathy…!
