Barack Obama is once again circumventing the legislative process in order to push his administration’s unpopular leftist agenda. First, it was illegal immigration, then transgender bathrooms. This time, it’s guns.
Earlier this year, the White House announced new policies for those receiving social security benefits in conjunction with the president’s January 5th executive order on gun ownership. When it was released, few seemed to notice that the order allowed the administration to withhold Second Amendment rights from those who collect social security.
The move makes little logical sense. Social Security beneficiaries have never proven themselves as particularly violent or incapable of gun ownership. Instead, it seems as if this is part of Obama’s larger plan to slowly and surreptitiously restrict gun ownership whenever and wherever possible.
The administration was likely hoping that this slow creep of new regulations would go unnoticed until it was too late to be repealed. Fortunately, the watchful eyes of conservative media caught them in the act.

You can buy all the guns you want until you lose your marbles… But if the court determines you to be incompetent and the SSA is informed of this fact because they they have to send your SS check to someone else who is responsible for you, you will no longer be allowed to buy any guns. Hopefully your children will remove the guns from your house so that you don’t do anyone any harm.
By the way, I am not aware the Obama has done anything but protect the level of benefits paid to SS recipients. It’s Republican congressmen like Paul Ryan who want to cut benefits. Don’t forget, that we’ve had 6 years of Rep controlled House and Senate that have tried to block any initiative Obama has attempted…

It’s not our fault he got us in all this date. They were talking about what a great job he did. Well when you have to suspend money that people earned because you spent way to much money. You didn’t do a good job. Go get that money back from Iran. Or the money back from those 20,000 dresses your daughters wore to some event. This is the very reason I will not trust you or Hillary with my money. Come on Trump. Maybe we will be able to have our benefits with you in charge of our money. Obama sure isn’t good at it.
