Obama: It’s Easier for Young African Africans to Buy a Glock than a Book

Lamenting the tension that exists between law enforcement minority communities, Obama ludicrously blamed this tenuous state of affairs on the fact that guns are prevalent in said communities, going as far to assert that it is easier for African-American youths “to buy a Glock that [to] get his hands on a computer or even a book.”

Setting aside the fact that no gun dealer, legal or illegal, would ever sell a Glock, or for that matter, any gun for a price lower than a cheap copy of The Cat In The Hat at the local Goodwill, Obama’s statement is outrageous in that it tries to deflect blame from Black Lives Matters’ blatantly anti-police rhetoric by shifting the focus to gun control, a note that he already hit just days after the Dallas shooting:

“On July 9, Obama sounded a similar theme while speaking in Warsaw, Poland.  He criticized gun laws in Texas, tied police safety to more gun control, and said Americans need to come together and talk about guns. He said, ‘There is a way to talk…that is consistent with our Constitution and the Second Amendment.’

He then pledged that he will not cease talking about gun control.”
