Obama Disregards Constitution Claiming That States Cannot Refuse Refugees

President Obama has once again demonstrated his blatant disregard for the Constitution.

Outraged that dozens of states are taking measures to keep undocumented Syrian refugees from being settled within their borders, Obama’s White House issued a statement warning them against turning away refugees lest they face the consequences of provoking his wrath.

The statement, taking the form of a two-page letter drawn up by the Office of Refugee Resettlement, argued that, “States may not deny [Office of Refugee Resettlement)-funded benefits and services to refugees based on a refugee’s country of origin or religious affiliation,” effectively barring state governments from taking steps to identify potential terrorists.

As if that weren’t enough, the Office’s statement further explained that if states did go through with such steps, it would take action against them, willing to go as far as suspending and terminating personnel involved in blocking refugees from being resettled.
