Obama said the suspect was armed with an assault weapon and had held hostages at the Planned Parenthood center, from which he opened fire at people outside.
“This is not normal. We can’t let it become normal,” a clearly frustrated Obama said in a statement.
“If we truly care about this — if we’re going to offer up our thoughts and prayers again, for God knows how many times, with a truly clean conscience — then we have to do something about the easy accessibility of weapons of war on our streets to people who have no business wielding them.
“Enough is enough.”

Obama noted that the shooting took place near a large Planned Parenthood building, but he has been silent about the million or more babies murdered in the Planned Parenthood clinics each year because although Black Lives Matter, infant lives apparently don’t, even if hundreds of thousands of the babies destroyed are African American.
The call for gun control, and in fact for gradual gun confiscation utilizing extreme regulations, stricter and more expansive background checks, and denial of gun permits to all but the elite and politically connected, has many wondering what the true agenda is for the commander in chief.
As his term draws closer to an end, he has made it clear that he would be happy to continue ruling as a royal, and some even question if his push to take guns away from “the commoners” is simply a way to open up the possibility of establishing martial law in order to retain the presidency in response to a declared urgent crisis. Once again, he is following the Marxist playbook chapter of not letting a good crisis go to waste, and an armed citizenry would be a major obstacle to such a scenario.
Nevertheless, Obama did finally address the real issue at hand, which was that a crazy person had committed murder and that there had been tragic loss of life. And although most of his pronouncements of late have charged that police officers are racist, bigoted, minority baiting bullies, he eventually gave a nod to the officer who was killed in the incident while protecting others.
“We don’t yet know what this particular gunman’s so-called motive was for shooting twelve people, or for terrorizing an entire community, when he opened fire with an assault weapon and took hostages at a Planned Parenthood center in Colorado,” he admitted. “What we do know is that he killed a cop in the line of duty, along with two of the citizens that police officer was trying to protect.”
In conclusion, Obama reminded all Americans that the police officer was killed in the line of duty, and thanks to his heroic actions, saved lives.
“May God bless Officer Garrett Swasey and the Americans he tried to save,” Obama said. “And may He grant the rest of us the courage to do the same thing.”
Unfortunately, there will never be enough Officer Swasey’s to protect everyone, everywhere, and so Obama’s desire to take away your guns and leave you to the much bigger problem of armed burglars, violent gangs, and potential terrorist incursions, should be seen as nothing more than his desire to take away your last, best chance to protect yourself and your family… your own firepower and the ability to use it.
