I don’t believe that military pay increases are as necessary considering the member AND FAMILY benefits including housing, utilities, meals, tax free groceries, retail, gas, and alcoholic vegetables; full family medical, dental, and vision with no deductible; VA GI Bill, paid OJT training and certification, tricare, auto discounts, and mortgages; USAA insurance, banking, investing, and auto discounts; free MAC travel anywhere and global travel base guesthouses, discounted gas coupons, meals, and deep hotel and restaurant coupons; and retirement with most of their pay, full medical/dental/vision, and base shopping for life.
