As a result of the years of cutting expenses, parts are back ordered, training time is cut and as well as the size of the military decreases the availability to respond. The cuts mean a decrease in training and a increase in potential accidents. Remember these men and women are keeping this country safe. It takes a very special person to commit to the lifestyle that the military provides. They should be making much more than the “minimum” wage. A $268 raise for a family barely making ends meets would matter. Three years of service can means 2 to 3 deployments, which include no days off, a stressful work environment, lack of supplies as well as parts and an enemy that wants us all dead.
