Under the 2016 pay scale, a Pay Grade E-1 undergoing recruit training will be paid roughly $2.15 an hour.

bull they all deserve raises and veterans from all wars should be fairly paid as well with no waiting for veterans or those serving also the ones recooperating from these wars.
Actually the bill was submitte at 3.8% and blocked by a republican congres. The republicans in the the house put forward 2.3 then that was blocked and 1% was approved. Obama asked for more for military and was given .3 more from congress. Thus, congress in totality is to blame.
