The only way anyone in the military could be considered as making less than 3 dollars an hour is if you are considering them as working 24/7. If divide the pay like it is a 40 hour work week(probably not but I don’t have numbers on the actual hours a enlisted person works) the lowest paid person in the military would make $9.35 an hour.
