The fact of the matter is that there already are laws in place to prevent people who are “deranged” or have “violent tendencies” from killing in the United States. There's nothing wrong with stricter background checks, but like extreme Islam, President Obama refuses to see that mental health is the problem, not guns.
He argued that since the United States was determined to fight terrorism, it was important for Americans to demand more gun control as well.
“We devote enormous resources, and properly so, to rooting out networks and debilitating organizations like ISIL and maintaining the intelligence and improving the information sharing that can identify those who would try to kill innocent people,” he said. “And yet, in the United States, we have the power to do more to prevent what is just a regular process of gun homicides.”
At a conference meant to be about climate change (which also isn't real), President Obama preached about America's great success in stopping terrorism and urged for gun control. What about all of the guns that he's given to terrorists that have resulted in a catastrophic number of lives lost? The hypocrisy is astounding, and so is the stupidity. At least you can take solace knowing that the organizers of the conference tried their hardest to get him off the stage by repeatedly pressing their buzzers.
