Obama and Bear Dine on Already Been Chewed Salmon: The Reality Show

Teddy Roosevelt, outdoor man extraordinaire, might have been a little proud of Obama for trying salmon, caught and chewed on by a bear, while in Alaska.  “Running Wild With Bear Grylls” invited Obama to appear on the show.

Grylls pulled part of a salmon, wrapped in moss, out of his backpack and told the President that it had been half eaten by a bear and was found on a river bank.

“Interesting, so a bear has chewed on this sucker,” Obama says while staring at the torn up fish. “Now why wouldn’t the bear finish this sucker – this looks like a nice looking piece of fish?”

Bear, the man, grilled the salmon over an open flame and the two men dined on what is a very nice meal compared to some of those eaten by Grylls, which have included spiders, snakes, maggots and raw fish.

“Bear’s a mediocre cook,” he continued. “But the fact that we ate something recognizable was encouraging, now, the fact that he told me this was a leftover fish from a bear, I don’t know if that was necessary. He could have just left that out.”

The images of Grylls and Obama eating the salmon cuisine and other interesting facts can be found at Breitbart.  The President is certainly no Teddy Roosevelt, but at least Bear challenged him to live a little.
